What makes our frames unique:

• A nail slot for mounting- A nail slot is cut into each side of the picture frame so they can hang flush against the wall in any orientation.
• No additional hardware needed- The nail slots eliminate the need for additional mounting hardware.
• Realistic stone texture- We use a tough urethane resin that is able to duplicate every bump and imperfection of the original stone. In fact, we use the same durable material that many climbing wall holds are made of.
• Real rock fragments- We use recycled marble cuts to enhance the stone texture of the picture frames.
• Eco Friendly wood- Each stone picture frame contains within itself a wood frame that is used to secure the photo and the backing. All the wood used is reclaimed from construction leftovers.
• Custom back for 4x6 desktop- The back and easel have a stone texture; they are connected by a leather hinge and mounting that we build.

Nail slots in every side make top and bottom equal. The frames will hang any direction.

Each slot is cut with a dovetail router bit, which is angled inward to securely hold the frame to the wall.

A nail slot allows the frames to sit flush against the wall.

 The 11x14 picture frame has 2 1/2" nail slots.

 The outer dimensions are 19 1/4" x 16 3/4".

The marble cuttings can be seen as

The marble cuttings help enhance

and maintain the stone texture.

The first photo is some of the

wood we were able to reclaim from      

construction sites and from the

local dump.

After we remove the nails and

cut the wood to length, we staple

the frame inserts together.

The inserts then receive the

stone texture.

Reclaimed wood may contain

random imperfections such as nail

holes, open knots, or small cracks.

These imperfections do not affect

the quality of the frame, but they

might just add to their character.

Each 4x6 Desktop frame is made

with a stone textured back and easel.             

The back is secured by 8 wood screws

into the wooden frame insert.

The easel is secured to the back with

a strap of leather which is secured by

metal plates and aluminum screw posts.
